The current directory-structure for my files is "year/month/day", and that's not very nice to navigate through. Here's what I would like: photo navigation which is not directory-based, but uses the information in the shotwell database and presentsĪ view of photos in the relevant subcategory. This forum contains some 5+ year old threads with links to google code, so if any has existed, afaict those are now dead. I've been searching through plugins (found nothing), and this board. I have a pretty large photo collection managed by Shotwell. I'm new to Kodi, checking it out if it's a good fit for my intended usecase on a little htpc with photos and videos. Many thanks for the help you all provide in general and for whatever you can do for this question as well! The video is an MKV file that I am trying to play, but it's a general problem I have as I mentioned with all HD.Īs an aside, it surprises me that I can't just use the regular version of KODI to play HDR videos - why a special version when 4k is so popular? Why can't the Microsoft Store version just play 4k right out of the box? I start Kodi, go down to Videos, scroll down the video I want, hit play, screen flickers and Kodi HDR crashes. The log is not helpful for me so I hope someone else can see an issue. Once I try to start the video, it just crashes. Someone recommended I down the HDR version of Kodi in order to fix this problem but I can't get any luck in running it for the files I need.

I tried hard coding the red text above for testing but passing the icon variable is not supported this way according to:

I am passing the DisplayVideoInfo.xml the rest of the parameters in the video info window just fine via the following code in my add-on: If I change the texture parameter to a hard coded file name I get the image so I know the basiscskin is working as I want. I am having difficulty passing the image info (in this case I am testing with the Confluence skin) to the Actor image control in the DisplayVideoInfo.xml file. I have a video add-on that DisplayVideoInfo.xml via a context add command:

So when I have no icon if I right click I get the option to scan to library but yet all the info appears there. But then when I exit out of the app And I come back in that same series will be gone and it will try to rescan. However I get no DVD icon but if I go in and click on change art I can select a different artwork. 1: I have noticed that some of the TV series that I have in my library will act like they are scanning in and if I click on the folder icon since I don’t get a DVD cover all the episodes will be scanned in with all their info.
